About the Job:

Antero Group is seeking a talented and highly motivated project manager with a variety of design and management skills for the Chicago Office location. The selected candidate will work with multidisciplinary teams to oversee various civil engineering projects in both the public and private sector, such as: residential, commercial, and industrial site development, roadway design, stormwater modeling, capital improvement projects, green infrastructure, trail design, and others.

This opportunity allows the selected candidate to work as part of a broad national team with additional offices in Denver and the Dallas-Fort Worth area (Denton, Texas). Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Civil engineering plan review
  • Project oversight
  • Effective communication skills for working with personnel, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
  • Report writing
  • Technical writing
  • Staff management
  • Budget and schedule management
  • Colleague mentoring
  • Business development support

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • 7-10 years of civil engineering experience
  • Registered Professional Engineer

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent project/time management skills
  • A desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and flexible work environment
  • Ability to manage multiple long-term projects and immediate tasks concurrently
  • Ability to work well on teams and individually
