Overview
Antero Group, LLC was the lead site design engineer for an 11-acre site with an office building and an 18,000+ square foot trucking warehouse in Gary, Indiana.
Antero Group completed site utility, stormwater management, site geometry, and grading designs, as well as permitting support. Truck maneuverability, site geometry, and pavement design were critical to this project’s success. Stormwater management was accommodated by expanding an existing regional detention pond on the site. The excavation as part of the pond expansion was able to be used to balance the earthwork for the project.
A future buildout was accounted for in the stormwater management design and permitting with the Gary Sanitary and Stormwater Management District.
